Labiaplasty - labia that are too large or too small can be corrected (labiaplasty)

A labiaplasty is a surgical procedure in which a woman’s labia are surgically altered. The procedure is carried out for various reasons. Either because the labia are too large or asymmetrical, or if there is discomfort such as pain during sexual intercourse or sport.

In most cases, the labia are too large

Labiaplasty is an outpatient procedure

During the operation, excess tissue is removed and the wound is then cosmetically sutured. You may go home immediately after the operation. Pain and swelling may occur during the first few days, which can usually be treated well. Nevertheless, you should take it easy for the first few days. Sitting and lying down is good, standing and walking a lot tends to lead to an increase in pain and swelling.
