Breast augmentation with autologous fat without implants

For many women, the breast is a symbol of femininity and a key factor in their self-confidence. If a woman is dissatisfied with her breasts, this can lead to considerable suffering. However, not every woman wants to choose implants as a solution – whether for personal reasons or due to a fear of foreign bodies.

What is breast augmentation with autologous fat?

Breast augmentation with autologous fat is an innovative method based on the body’s own fatty tissue. Excess fat is harvested by liposuction from problem areas such as the abdomen, hips or thighs, processed and injected into the breast. This procedure enables a gentle and natural enlargement of the breast without the use of implants.

How does the method work?

The procedure is divided into three steps:

  1. Liposuction Removal of fatty tissue from suitable areas of the body.
  2. Preparation Special cleaning and processing of the fat to prepare it for injection.
  3. Injection of autologous fat Careful injection of fat into the breast to optimize volume and shape.

The method is particularly suitable for women who want a moderate increase in breast size and at the same time want to benefit from body contouring.

Is breast augmentation with autologous fat the right choice for you?

An autologous fat transfer is an option for you if:

you suffer from the current size of your breasts and would like a change.

Breast augmentation with implants is not an option for you - whether for personal or medical reasons.

your breasts are not very pendulous and any asymmetries are only slightly pronounced.

Have you already discovered the alternative of breast augmentation with implants? This method is perfect for women who want shapely, full breasts. Implants are ideal if you want to achieve a larger volume or if you do not have enough of your own fat.
Are you happy with the size of your breasts, but unhappy with the shape or the signs of time? A breast lift can restore your breasts to their original shape. The tissue is tightened and the result can be combined with other procedures if required.

Advantages of breast augmentation with autologous fat

Natural results without foreign bodies

The breast feels soft and natural after augmentation with autologous fat, as only the body’s own material is used. In contrast to implants, there is no foreign body sensation and the breast adapts harmoniously to the natural shape of the body.

Body shaping included

During liposuction for autologous fat transfer, problem areas such as the abdomen, hips or thighs are treated in a targeted manner. As a result, you benefit from a double aesthetic effect: slimmer body contours and larger breasts.

Lower risk and fewer side effects

As no implants are used, there is no risk of capsular fibrosis or other implant-related complications. In addition, rejection of the inserted fat by the body is virtually impossible as it is the patient’s own tissue.

Barely visible scars

The procedure is minimally invasive using fine cannulas, so that visible scars are virtually eliminated. This is particularly beneficial for women who value a flawless appearance.

Individual customization

The method is ideal for women who want moderate augmentation and value natural, harmonious results. The amount of fat injected is individually tailored to your wishes and anatomical conditions.

5 steps to autologous fat breast augmentation

Anesthesia

Breast augmentation with autologous fat is usually performed under general anesthesia or twilight sleep. Before the operation, the anesthetist will discuss all the important details with you to ensure the best possible safety.

Liposuction and preparation - the key to natural breast augmentation

The fat required for breast augmentation is extracted particularly gently using the finest cannulas and the smallest incisions. The usual donor sites are the abdomen, hips or thighs. The removed fat is then processed sterilely in a closed system and carefully prepared for transfer to the breast.

Aftercare and recovery - how to support your healing

After the procedure, the breast is stabilized with plaster strips that can be removed the following day. Swelling and bruising on the breast usually disappear within two weeks. Important recommendations for aftercare:

  • No bra: Do not wear a bra or only a very loose support bra for the first 6 weeks. If possible, do not exert any pressure on the fatty tissue of the breast.
  • Possible pain: After liposuction, the affected area may ache like a sore muscle or bruise. Conventional painkillers are usually completely sufficient.
  • Compression weakness: After liposuction, it is important to wear compression garments continuously (day and night) for 6 weeks.
  • Rest: Avoid physical exertion and give your body sufficient rest.

Long-term result - natural and adaptable

The final result is visible after approx. 3 months, as around 50-70% of the transferred fat is permanently incorporated into the breast. The result remains stable as long as you maintain your body weight. Weight gain or loss can slightly change the volume of the breast as the fat tissue naturally interacts with your body.

You should know that!

Breast augmentation with autologous fat - the most important questions and answers

How permanent is breast augmentation with autologous fat?

You can assume that around 50% to 70% of the transferred autologous fat will grow in the new environment and be supplied with blood and nutrients. The rest is reabsorbed by the body. The fat that integrates and is supplied by the body remains permanently if your weight stays stable. Initial rest and a healthy lifestyle with plenty of fruit, vegetables and water also support the result positively. The growth rate is higher with repeated breast augmentation with autologous fat.

In almost all cases, liposuction and breast augmentation by autologous fat grafting can be performed on an outpatient basis. Even if the procedure is performed under twilight sleep or anesthesia, you will wake up immediately after the procedure and can return home a short time later. Breast augmentation with autologous fat can also be performed on an inpatient basis if there are medical reasons for this or on special request.

Patient safety is my top priority! However, every surgical procedure involves certain risks.

These risks are generally considered to be low in the case of autologous fat treatment, as the body’s own tissue is involved. In addition to bruising and hematoma discoloration, wound infections may rarely occur or the fatty tissue may not be sufficiently absorbed.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure and no surgery is entirely risk-free. Therfore it is important that only highly trained and qualified doctors perform the operation. Thanks to the use of modern methods and equipment, subsequent complications are correspondingly rare:
  • Bleeding
  • Hematomas
  • Wound infections
  • Irregularities and dimpling
  • Sport: Unfortunately, you will have to avoid sport completely for 8 weeks, as this can reduce the rate of growth. After that, light sporting activities with a slow increase are permitted.
  • Sun, solarium: please do not sunbathe or use a solarium for 3 months, as this can lead to permanent skin discoloration. Afterwards, please use a suitable sunscreen with SPF 50+ consistently.
  • Sauna, hammam, thermal baths: please avoid saunas, hammams and thermal baths for 3 months as they stimulate blood circulation and can lead to pain.
  • Swimming pool: should be avoided for 3 weeks (risk of infection)

Unfortunately, it is not possible to operate on a specific cup size. Experience shows that an enlargement of up to approx. one cup size per session is realistic. If you wish to have even larger breasts, the procedure can be repeated. The aim is to achieve a harmonious overall appearance in which the breast blends well and harmoniously into your body image.

Cellulite (orange peel skin) is a change in appearance that affects almost every woman to a lesser or greater extent. It can occur all over the body, with the most common areas being the buttocks and thighs. Liposuction often improves the appearance significantly and permanently. In addition, we recommend manual lymphatic drainage after liposuction to positively support and stabilize the result. This also reduces swelling and pain much faster.

Careful preparation for breast augmentation can have a positive influence on the healing process and helps to minimize risks. Pay attention to the following aspects:
  • State of health: Discuss your general state of health and any illnesses with the doctor. Acute or severe chronic illnesses that would prevent surgery should be ruled out.
  • Control of chronic illnesses: If you suffer from high blood pressure or diabetes, make sure that these are well controlled with medication.
  • Avoid nicotine: Avoid smoking for at least three weeks before and after the operation, as nicotine can significantly slow down wound healing.
  • Do not take blood-thinning medication: Aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs impair blood clotting and should therefore be discontinued in good time before the operation.
  • Organizing transportation home: Plan in advance how you will get home after the operation if you are discharged on the same day. It is advisable to have support at home for the first night after the operation.
  • Preparing the environment: Place all the things you will need after the operation within easy reach to avoid unnecessary stretching and lifting. This will make your recovery easier and minimize the risk of injury.
  • Drink plenty of water: Good hydration before and after the procedure promotes the healing process and supports your recovery.

The cost of breast reduction includes all additional costs such as liposuction, preparation and fat transfer. There are no hidden costs!
